Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Director of Global Security to lead global security strategy and operations. You will oversee enterprise risk management, physical security, crisis response, executive protection, investigations, and vendor oversight across regions, reporting to the Senior Director of Global EHS.

This remote role requires a Bachelor's degree in security or related field, 20+ years in security, and 10+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant security/risk experience.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise‑level programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead global security strategy and operations across regions.
• Manage enterprise security risk, physical security, crisis management, investigations, and vendor oversight.
• Define security policies, standards, and operating models aligned to business priorities.
• Provide executive protection strategies and travel security program elements.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with EHS, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations.
• Oversee site security risk assessments and mitigation plans.
