Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead security strategy, executive protection, and travel security programs across regions. You will manage enterprise risk and collaborate with EHS, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations to safeguard people, facilities, and continuity.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, international travel, and the ability to shape policies, standards, and programs in a complex multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant functional experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level security programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks as part of enterprise risk & threat management including security plans in support of employment actions and facility decisions.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across all regions and help define and execute a global security strategy aligned to business priorities.
• Standardize site security risk assessments and mitigation plans, ensure effective facility asset protection and oversee physical security systems including access control, surveillance, guard force programs.
• Support crisis management, incident response, business continuity, and executive incident escalation in response to major events such as workplace violence, natural disasters, and geopolitical disruptions.
• Define and provide executive protection strategies and travel security program elements aligned with Danaher protocols including: travel risk assessments, high-risk region protocols and real-time traveler tracking and support.
• Execute within a cross-functional environment in close partnership with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
