Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead security strategy and operations worldwide. You will protect employees, facilities, assets, and business continuity across regions, reporting to the Senior Director of Global EHS, in a fully remote role.

You will build world‑class programs, standardize risk assessments, and manage executive protection and travel security aligned with Danaher protocols. Travel 40–60% internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant functional experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level security programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks as part of enterprise risk & threat management.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across regions.
• Standardize site security risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Oversee physical security systems including access control and surveillance.
• Support crisis management, incident response, and business continuity.
• Define executive protection strategies and travel security elements.
• Collaborate with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
