Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead security strategy and operations worldwide. You will protect employees, facilities, assets, and business continuity across regions, reporting to the Senior Director of Global EHS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or related field.
• 20+ years in security, law enforcement, military, or corporate risk/security.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing security programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks as part of enterprise risk & threat management including security plans in support of employment actions and facility decisions.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across all regions and help define and execute a global security strategy aligned to business priorities.
• Standardize site security risk assessments and mitigation plans, ensure effective facility asset protection and oversee physical security systems including access control, surveillance, guard force programs.
• Support crisis management, incident response, business continuity, and executive incident escalation in response to major events such as workplace violence, natural disasters, and geopolitical disruptions.
• Define and provide executive protection strategies and travel security program elements aligned with Danaher protocols including: travel risk assessments, high-risk region protocols and real-time traveler tracking and support.
• Execute within a cross-functional environment in close partnership with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
