Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director, Global Security to lead enterprise security strategy and programs across regions. This remote role reports to the Senior Director of Global EHS and collaborates with Legal, HR, IT and Operations.

The position requires 20+ years in security, 10+ years leadership, a related Bachelor's, and travel up to 60% internationally; Master's or CPP/PSP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security experience.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise security programs.
• Travel requirements: up to 60% internationally.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks and develop plans.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across regions.
• Standardize site risk assessments and protect assets (access control, surveillance).
• Support crisis management, incident response, and business continuity.
• Define executive protection strategies and travel security aligned with Danaher protocols.
• Collaborate with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
