Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead enterprise security strategy and operations. The role oversees risk management, physical security, crisis response, and executive protection across regions, reporting to the Senior Director of Global EHS and working within a remote-capable global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant functional experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise‑level security programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks as part of enterprise risk & threat management.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across all regions and help define and execute a global security strategy.
• Standardize site security risk assessments and mitigation plans, ensure effective facility asset protection and oversee physical security systems.
• Support crisis management, incident response, business continuity, and executive incident escalation.
• Define and provide executive protection strategies and travel security program elements aligned with Danaher protocols.
• Execute within a cross-functional environment in close partnership with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
