Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks a compliance leader to oversee a team of specialists and drive global regulatory programs, with emphasis on EU CRA and NIS2. You will develop roadmaps, prioritize resources, and coordinate with regulators and customers to ensure robust controls.

The role requires 10+ years in security, compliance, and risk management, plus experience building scalable assurance functions across multiple frameworks. Strong communication with executives is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline
• Experience in written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
• Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders and advising cross-functional teams
• 10+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience
• Experience building and scaling compliance/assurance functions, integrating teams, and driving operational excellence across multiple regulatory frameworks simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Manage global regulatory and compliance requirements, focusing on EU requirements
• Work closely with the business to understand and scope compliance needs, and develop roadmaps and prioritization for the compliance program
• Implement and maintain compliance programs, and manage regulator and auditor requests
• Create metrics for management reporting
• Develop scaling mechanisms to meet increasing customer demands, using automation and AI/ML tools
