Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. seeks a Security Compliance Specialist Principal Lead to architect and drive enterprise-wide security compliance across cloud environments and complex programs. You will design scalable control frameworks and lead end-to-end audits with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, DoD/ISO/NIST and other frameworks, and credentials such as CISSP or CISM. You will interact with senior leadership and external assessors to translate compliance demands

Qualifications

10+ years relevant experience in security compliance programs across frameworks.
Experience with DoD SRG IL4/IL5/IL6, NIST SP 800-171/53, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS.
Experience in Cloud Service Provider environments or with a 3PAO/C3PAO.
Ability to translate compliance needs into strategic business enablers and present to executives.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement unified control frameworks for multiple regulatory standards.
Collaborate with engineers and system owners to map controls to standards.
Serve as primary interface for 3PAOs, C3PAOs and defense agencies.
Manage end-to-end assessment lifecycles and remediation efforts.
Translate audit findings into actionable risk models and briefs.
Drive continuous monitoring and recurring audit workflows across lifecycles.
