Job summary

Akamai Technologies GmbH is seeking a Security Compliance Specialist Principal Lead to drive enterprise-wide compliance strategies across cloud environments. You will design scalable control frameworks and lead end-to-end audit initiatives with cross-functional teams to meet DoD, federal, and international standards.

You will translate complex requirements into verifiable controls, coordinate with external auditors, and communicate risk insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Have 10+ years relevant experience and BA/BS or Graduate Degree.
• Experience with DoD SRG IL4/IL5/IL6, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171/53, FedRAMP, SOC 1/2/3, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GovRAMP.
• Experience in Cloud Service Provider environments or with a Third-Party Assessment Organization.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement adaptable, unified control frameworks for DoD and international standards.
• Collaborate with security architects, software engineers, and system owners to map controls.
• Serve as primary technical interface for 3PAOs, C3PAOs, auditors, and defense agencies.
• Manage end-to-end assessment lifecycles, evidence gathering, and remediations.
• Synthesize gaps and regulatory shifts into actionable risk models and briefings.
• Drive continuous monitoring and recurring audit workflows for readiness.
