Job summary

Pinkerton is seeking a Global Account Director to lead one of its largest global clients, delivering proactive strategic direction and high‑quality risk management programs. The Director provides global account leadership, identifies industry best practices, and continuously seeks improvements to overall performance.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule (in office/remote) and requires effective collaboration with site management, corporate support, and client executives to ensure service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus five+ years of global senior security management experience.
• Ability to manage security operations across multiple sites globally.
• Strong project management skills and strategic thinking.
• Ability to influence senior management to advance global security programs.
• Sound judgment, decisive action, and data-driven planning.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Serve as a key contact to ensure high-quality service for the assigned account.
• Evaluate service quality and initiate corrective action when needed.
• Develop and recommend innovative programs to meet client expectations.
• Coordinate benchmarking and identify cost-saving practices across the account.
• Identify networking opportunities across global locations to support client programs.
• Partner with site management to standardize processes and improve service delivery.
• Implement performance measures, scorecards, and reporting methods.
• Meet regularly with the client to review the account and negotiate contracts.
• Provide support during start-ups and transitions including security planning and assessments.
• Review and ensure contract compliance throughout the portfolio.
• Lead recruitment, training, and retention of staff for client programs.
• Plan, assign, coach, and provide performance feedback to teams.
• Provide leadership of the senior leadership team supporting client security programs.
• Participate in client budget planning for services and deployments.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Ensure timely invoicing and labor cost control.
• Staff appropriately to meet client requirements across global operations.
• Contribute to company initiatives and resolve issues across functions.
• Build teamwork and implement progressive change.
• Evaluate global security needs and feasibility of service delivery.
• Develop global service networks and strong alliance relationships.
• Coordinate and evaluate global service delivery and best practices.
