Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• 2-5 years of experience in supply chain, customer service, or administrative support role (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), particularly order processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for receiving and managing all sample requests from Sales and Technical
• Review and process incoming sample requests, determining sourcing, required approvals, and necessary documentation
• Maintain an accurate and sufficient chemical inventory to allow for the timely fulfillment of sample requests
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure timely preparation and shipment of samples
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements for shipping chemical samples, including DOT HAZMAT Shipping and IATA Dangerous Goods certifications
• Identify and resolve issues related to sample availability, data accuracy, or shipment delays
• Support continuous improvement of sample coordination processes and data management practices
• Other tasks as assigned by management
