Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing seeks a Sample Coordinator for a global specialty chemicals manufacturer in Clover, SC. You will manage customer sample requests, act as the primary contact, and coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehouse, and Logistics to ensure accurate processing and on-time shipment readiness.

This role supports new business, product launches, and compliant sample fulfillment in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, customer service, or administrative support role (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), particularly order processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills across teams.
• Basic understanding of chemical products, labeling, or shipping requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for receiving and managing all sample requests from Sales and Technical.
• Review and process incoming sample requests, determining sourcing, required approvals, and necessary documentation.
• Maintain an accurate and sufficient chemical inventory to allow for the timely fulfillment of sample requests.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure timely preparation and shipment of samples.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements for shipping chemical samples, including maintaining DOT HAZMAT Shipping and IATA Dangerous Goods certifications.
• Identify and resolve issues related to sample availability, data accuracy, or shipment delays.
• Support continuous improvement of sample coordination processes and data management practices.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.
