Mattermost is seeking an experienced Director of Sales Engineering to build and lead a global technical presales team. You will set the standard for demos, scoping, and proving the platform, coaching SEs to win technical evaluations, and partnering with regional sales leaders on strategic pursuits.

You will report to the CRO and ensure the team demonstrates secure, on-premises, or air-gapped solutions across defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure buyers.

Competenze

• Experience leading a technical presales or solutions engineering team with hiring and coaching.
• Record of driving enterprise software deals in defense, intelligence, or critical infrastructure markets.
• Strong executive communication with CISOs, architects, and sales leaders.

Mansioni

• Lead and develop the global team of technical presales engineers, setting expectations and performance criteria.
• Define standard demonstrations, reference architectures, and POC playbooks for defense and critical infrastructure buyers.
• Partner with regional sales leaders to align coverage and shape technical strategy on key deals.
• Keep SEs current on product releases and certifications through close collaboration with Product and Engineering.
• Provide feedback from the field to influence roadmap and ensure consistent customer messaging.
