Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Director of Global Safety Standards & Compliance to lead the development, governance, and continuous improvement of our safety program and regulatory compliance across international operations. You will partner with venue management, HR, legal and operations to build a world-class safety culture and drive performance.

The role requires 5–7 years of safety leadership with multi-site experience, a Bachelor’s in a relevant field (Master’s preferred), and proven ability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Fire Service Administration, Risk Management, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or a related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
• 5-7 years of progressive safety leadership experience.
• Minimum of 3 years managing multi-site or global safety programs.
• Experience supporting hospitality, entertainment, sports venues, food service, events, construction, or related industries strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success implementing enterprise-wide safety management systems.
• Experience leading regulatory compliance and risk management initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and local, state, federal, and international occupational health and safety requirements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and proactively update organizational standards and procedures.
• Develop and manage compliance auditing programs across all operating divisions.
• Direct and coordinate regulatory inspections, agency interactions, and corrective action plans.
• Oversee compliance reporting and documentation systems.
• Partner with legal and human resources teams on compliance-related matters.
