Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks a General Affairs Security Technical Specialist to lead plant security programs and ensure safe operations. You will plan security installations, develop policies, monitor surveillance, and coordinate with law enforcement.

The role requires 1–3 years in security management, strong risk awareness, and proven leadership. Excellent communication and decision-making under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years experience in security management, preferably in a plant or industrial setting.
• Experience establishing plant security protocols and risk management.
• Experience recruiting, training, and supervising security officers and guards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Developing the security devices installation plan, defining the safety level of each area, and following up on all security-related installations.
• Developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular security checks to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Controlling budgets for security operations.
• Recruiting, training, and supervising security staff and vendors, ensuring all personnel adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and devise measures to mitigate identified risks.
• Investigate security incidents and promptly report findings to management.
• Maintain a secure environment for plant assets and minimize potential security breaches.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to enhance plant security.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security management.
• Conduct security awareness training for all employees and contractors.
• Develop emergency response plans and ensure all staff are trained in emergency procedures.
