Job summary

ABB is seeking a Project Manager within the Robotics division in the United States. The role drives project scope, schedule, budget, and margin adherence for a diversified NA portfolio including Consumer Electronics, White Goods, Electrification, Data Server and Data Centers.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage risks, and coordinate with GSC HQ and local teams to ensure on‑time delivery and strong customer relations. This is a high‑impact, global role with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 10 years of Project Management & Leadership Experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline.
• Travel up to 20%.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship by ABB.
• PMP or other Product Management Certification.
• MBA or Masters Degree in a technical discipline.
• Microsoft Project and Excel proficiency.
• SAP skills with prior Project Management experience using SAP.
• Team building or coaching experience.
• Ability to lead and execute independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence across the business.

Responsibilities

• Leads the project team allocated to the project and defines main guidelines.
• Plans with Project Controls to define scope, schedule and budgets.
• Monitors project progress, financials, risks and opportunities; drives contract close-out.
• Manages contract, claims and procurement in line with ABB policies.
• Serves as the customer escalation point for project issues.
• Ensures adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Collaborates with GSC HQ and local teams across time zones.
