Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for the Global Solution Center Adaptive Precision Assembly NA. The role manages projects across North America, guiding scope, schedule, budget, and delivery while working with GSC and local teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive PM leadership experience, a technical degree, and can travel up to 20%. Strong communication, SAP/Microsoft Project proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 10 years of Project Management & Leadership Experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline.
• Travel up to 20%.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Leads the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating tasks, and monitoring resources and milestones.
• Defines project plans including scope, finances, schedule, and risk management.
• Monitors progress, controls costs, cash flow, and invoicing; manages risks and contract close-out.
• Manages contracts, claims and procurement in coordination with Supply Chain Management.
• Acts as key customer contact and escalation point for project issues.
• Ensures compliance with HSE policies across the project.
• Collaborates with GSC HQ and local teams across time zones.
