Job summary

Roche seeks an International Product Manager for Sequencing Sample Preparation to lead the RNA-Seq portfolio globally. You will align stakeholders, drive product strategy, and guide execution from concept through on-market support with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and R&D.

Remote work is preferred in the United States, with relocation not offered. A discretionary annual bonus may apply; primary salary range reflects Pleasanton, CA location.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Marketing, Science or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of marketing/sales experience in the life sciences, diagnostics and/or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with sequencing products, specifically RNA-Seq library prep.
• Broad experience in NGS space and multiple product iterations.
• Excellent leadership & communication skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a facilitator and integrator across stakeholders to ensure library prep solutions are developed and commercially available on scope, time and budget.
• Drives systematic commercial development of Roche RNA sample prep products from concept to launch and obsolescence.
• Provides on-market product support and guidance to affiliates.
• Collaborates with commercial teams to execute global commercialization strategy including positioning, messaging, and training.
• Gathers and prioritizes customer requirements across markets and identifies portfolio gaps.
• Generates product requirements and a multi-year product roadmap.
• Monitors competitor activities and develops actions to address them.
• Leads and motivates the system team toward shared goals.
