MRI Software is seeking a Revenue, Technical Accounting & Policy Senior Manager to lead a newly established global team responsible for revenue recognition, technical accounting and accounting policy. The role provides authoritative guidance, establishes group-wide policies and governs significant revenue judgements across complex commercial arrangements.

Formación

• CPA professional qualification is required.
• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience with substantial post-qualification experience.
• Experience applying ASC 606 and/or IFRS15 to software/SaaS or other recurring-revenue contracts, including complex/non-standard arrangements.
• Ability to research accounting guidance and produce high-quality technical papers for senior management and external audits.
• Problem-solving capability to identify, understand, and resolve technical/procedural challenges.
• Experience leading significant workstreams and overseeing others.
• Excellent written and verbal English with clear explanation of technical conclusions.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills for handling large datasets.

Responsabilidades

• Lead revenue recognition governance for material and non-standard customer arrangements.
• Own and maintain the revenue recognition framework across SaaS, licences, maintenance, services.
• Review and challenge revenue accounting conclusions and remediate gaps with Finance Transformation.
• Approve revenue accounting adjustments from contracts and control activities.
• Partner with Sales and Legal to optimize revenue outcomes on in-flight contracts.
• Own the group accounting policy manual and ensure cross-regional consistency.
• Research complex accounting matters and provide practical guidance to stakeholders.
• Act as SME for significant judgements impacting statutory and group reporting.
• Prepare audit-ready technical accounting papers with key facts, guidance, analysis, judgements and conclusions.
• Monitor new standards/regulatory developments and lead adoption.
• Partner with Audit/Controls to design controls and support audits.
• Collaborate with Legal/Commercial/Corporate Development on significant arrangements and acquisitions.
• Develop the finance organisation through training and coaching.
• Drive simplification, standardisation and automation while preserving control.
