Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• ASA, FSA, or equivalent qualified actuary designation required.
• Significant progressive experience in pension consulting, actuarial services, corporate retirement plans, or related financial roles.
• Deep expertise in defined benefit plan valuation, funding, accounting, asset-liability management, investments, and actuarial risk management.
• Experience with global or multi-country retirement programs, including regulatory, tax, accounting, and governance considerations.
• Experience overseeing external actuarial consultants and evaluating complex technical analyses and recommendations.
• Demonstrated success leading complex transactions, integrations, plan transitions, or large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of pension financial reporting, actuarial valuations, audits, and fiduciary or board-level reporting.
• Experience with pension de-risking or risk-transfer transactions is preferred.
• Strong strategic, analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead retirement plan integration activities with external advisors and cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate decisions, milestones, risks, and communications for plan readiness.
• Review plan design, funding, governance, data, vendors, and implementation.
• Provide progress updates, issue escalation, and leadership recommendations.
• Establish governance framework for global retirement plans and monitoring.
• Develop retirement plan strategies balancing employee needs and financial stewardship.
• Advise leadership and plan fiduciaries on major matters.
• Oversee funding, forecasting, liquidity planning, and risk management with Finance.
• Monitor investment strategy, asset allocation, and manager performance.
• Lead de-risking and risk-transfer opportunities where appropriate.
• Lead forecasting, actuarial assumptions, accounting, and audit support for reporting.
• Ensure compliance with legal, tax, accounting, and governance requirements globally.
• Manage service providers and collaborate with HR, Legal, Tax, and regional teams.
