Job summary

Motion Industries seeks a Retirement Benefits Manager to lead all retirement and financial wellness programs in the U.S. and Canada. You will own governance, design and oversight of qualified and nonqualified plans, and manage relationships with consultants, recordkeepers, and trustees.

The role requires substantial experience in retirement plan administration, ERISA compliance, and strong stakeholder communication across HR, Finance, and Legal. Travel as needed for governance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance, economics, or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive retirement benefits experience.
• Knowledge of qualified defined contribution plans and ERISA compliance.
• Experience managing external vendors, recordkeepers, and investment advisors.
• Strong analytical, project management, and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for all retirement benefit plans and programs, ensuring effective administration and compliance.
• Lead governance activities, and support committee reporting and decision-making.
• Manage vendor relationships, audits, and service levels with third-party providers.
• Coordinate plan testing, Form 5500, disclosures, and regulatory filings as required.
• Develop retirement education and financial wellness initiatives to engage employees.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external providers for accurate plan administration.
