Job summary

DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson company, seeks a Director of Retirement, Benefits & Wellbeing to shape and govern the global benefits strategy across markets. You will lead a global team, develop enterprise-wide frameworks, and drive continuous evolution of retirement, health, wellbeing, and allowances programs.

You will partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to deliver compliant, market-competitive programs while influencing senior leaders and driving enterprise-wide initiatives in

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading global benefits, retirement, wellbeing, or total rewards programs.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide benefits strategies and governance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of retirement plans, health and welfare programs, wellbeing initiatives, benefits regulations, and related compliance requirements.
• Experience leading global vendor management, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive enterprise-wide initiatives across complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with experience using data to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the global benefits strategy aligned with priorities and workforce needs.
• Own enterprise benefits governance model for consistency, risk management, and compliance across regions.
• Provide strategic leadership for global retirement programs including defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
• Establish and advance the employee wellbeing strategy and related programs.
• Oversee design and management of global health and welfare programs with market competitiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Direct the strategy, design, and governance of employee allowances and related benefits programs.
• Develop enterprise-wide benefits policies, standards, and frameworks for a consistent employee experience globally.
• Lead global vendor strategy including selection, governance, and contract negotiations.
• Partner with HR Partners, Total Rewards, Finance, Legal, Procurement and leaders to drive benefits innovation.
• Use market intelligence, benchmarking, analytics and employee insights to evaluate program effectiveness.
