Job summary

ALO is seeking a Global Retail Sr. Instructional Designer to own the design and production of digital courses, videos, and graphics for global store teams.

You will partner cross-functionally to turn business priorities into clear, on-brand training and support peak periods with a strong, scalable learning program. This senior individual contributor role requires rapid onboarding, fluency in alo's voice, and the ability to work independently to deliver high-quality learning content for a global

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of instructional design experience, including corporate/global retail support.
• Expertise building courses in Articulate Rise and publishing to an LMS.
• Ability to leverage AI to improve content creation and processes.
• Ability to quickly learn store operations and translate into training.
• Strong storytelling and editing skills across video and graphics.
• Proven ability to write and design in a distinct brand voice and adhere to brand guidelines.
• Solid grounding in instructional design models and curriculum design.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce end-to-end digital courses, videos, graphics, and job aids (Articulate Rise).
• Apply adult learning theory to create content driving measurable business outcomes.
• Collaborate with SMEs to source and validate content.
• Maintain a standardized template and brand voice across all materials.
• Manage the global training calendar and workload for peak periods.
• Run projects end-to-end from intake to launch and results reporting.
• Translate product launches and updates into engaging on-brand communications.
• Measure content effectiveness and refine the approach.
