Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Training & Operations Manager to develop and implement training programs for international franchise networks and ensure standardized procedures across markets.

You will partner with international teams to tailor training, deliver in-person and online sessions, and drive program effectiveness while maintaining high quality across all locations. This role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, bilingual skills, and extensive Microsoft Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of experience and/or education showing commanding knowledge of training or multi-unit supervision.
• BA/BS Degree preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and an acceptable DMV report.
• Must have a valid Passport or be able to obtain one.
• Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and coaching skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication with all levels of customers and management.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Field training experience in retail/restaurant is preferred.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish speaking preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to implement process improvement.
• Strong work ethic and high confidentiality for sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Develops procedures, training guides and standards for restaurant tests within regions/countries.
• Partner with International Operations Management to determine training needs and modify guides.
• Analyze opportunities and create international solutions supporting licensees.
• Create education sessions and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Design training strategy plans meeting timelines and budgets.
• Oversee mandated management training for new franchisees.
• Collaborate with Franchise Business Consultants to certify training locations.
• Coordinate and manage new restaurant opening support for market entry.
• Ensure licensees maintain current operations manuals and training materials.
• Coordinate training requests and lead onboarding for new franchisees.
• Participate in discovery days with potential franchisees.
• Exercise independent judgment in significant matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
