Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Strategic Resource Engagement Manager for the Global Financial US Strategic Resourcing team. The role, based in Charlotte, NC area, leads staffing engagements, manages consultants onsite, and partners with sales to grow the business while ensuring client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will oversee strategy, capacity planning, training, and process improvements, providing mentorship to engineers and guiding engagements end-to-end across multiple

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical management experience in a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of engagement management/resource management.
• Experience supporting Global Financial customers.
• Prior experience in staffing or recruiting.
• Proven experience interacting with large, enterprise clients.
• Proven experience tracking and managing financials and/or budgets.
• Prior experience managing engineering teams or technical staff in a project execution capacity.
• Ability to work independently and solve customer-facing problems.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage consultants placed onsite with customers across Global Financial US.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to consultants on engagements.
• Collaborate with RM to onboard new consultants.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders on extensions, opportunities, consultant utilization, change orders/POs, and invoicing.
• Escalation path for issues for consultants and stakeholders.
• Provide regular project and resource reporting to clients.
• Produce detailed invoicing reports as requested.
• Understand client environment, upcoming projects and initiatives.
• Encourage use of SR tools and reinforce core values.
• Communicate changes to clients via emails and meetings.
• Build relationships across the sales cycle with CSEs, AMs, Hiring Managers, and SPA.
• Track issues and risks as needed.
• Participate in interviewing and intake calls with RM and client.
• Maintain relationships to sustain business and secure new opportunities.
• Advocate for consultants and customers when required.
