Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to manage international and US regulatory reporting for BSI, ensuring the integrity and timely submission of data to regulatory bodies such as ECB, TICs, FR2900, and SEC filings.

The role includes preparing Regulatory Capital calculations, supporting automation upgrades, and maintaining regulatory reporting tools while collaborating with IT, Compliance, FP&A, Financial Control, and external regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required
• Master's Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Preferred
• 5+ Years Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar field within Banking/Financial Services
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting standards
• Fluent Spanish and English (required)
• CPA: (Certified Public Accountant) - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate preparation of required Head Office (BSSA), ECB reports including IFRS end of month closing and notes
• Prepare the Risk Weighted Assets and regulatory Capital calculations
• Preparation of assigned quarterly SEC Reports
• Participate in automation and upgrade of the system used in reporting
• Maintain current and implement upgrades of regulatory reporting tools (Reg. Reporter) and knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS
• Document policy, procedures and control frameworks for regulatory reporting
• Participate in bank examinations and audits
• Complete daily data extractions and validation processes
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, Compliance, FP&C, Financial Control, and regulators to facilitate projects
• Comply with Corporate policies, culture and training expectations
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
