Job summary

Remitly, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Global License and Examination Management to lead a global team responsible for maintaining licenses and regulator readiness across the United States and international jurisdictions.

The role is based in Seattle with a hybrid work arrangement. You will partner with Compliance Officers to manage examinations, filings, renewals, and license operationalization, ensuring timely responses and board-ready reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in financial services regulatory compliance, licensing, or examination management.
• 4+ years leading a team in a regulatory environment.
• Experience with cross-border remittance or consumer payments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global examination readiness across jurisdictions where Remitly holds authorizations.
• Manage the global examination calendar and develop reusable evidence library.
• Coordinate license operationalization, filings, renewals, and notices across the portfolio.
• Monitor regulatory financial condition requirements and coordinate with Treasury/Accounting.
• Lead hiring, performance management, and budget for the team.
• Drive automation and data tracking improvements for licenses and exams.
