Job summary

Remitly seeks a Senior Manager, Global License and Examination Management in Seattle, WA. You will lead the team ensuring regulatory licenses stay in good standing and oversee examinations, renewals, and filings across multiple jurisdictions. The role combines regulatory expertise with strategic program leadership in a hybrid work setting.

You will manage an international portfolio, collaborate with Compliance Officers, and drive scalable processes while overseeing hiring and budget for the team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in financial services regulatory compliance, licensing, or examination management.
• Leadership experience: 4+ years leading a team.
• Experience with cross-border remittance or money transmission.
• Direct experience managing regulatory examinations and document responses.

Responsibilities

• Own global examination readiness across jurisdictions.
• Oversee license commercialization and renewals.
• Maintain US license portfolio including MSB registrations.
• Lead a global team across time zones and regions.
