Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Regulatory Data Vanguard leader to oversee global data management across regions and products, ensuring high data quality and timely regulatory information. You will partner with BPOs to improve processes and drive changes that support compliance and patient safety.

The role leads cross-functional teams, champions data excellence, and uses AI/data science capabilities to advance governance, milestones, and remediation initiatives across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years or Master’s with 4+ years in life sciences, regulatory affairs, data management, or related field.
• Strong experience in regulatory affairs or regulatory operations and data governance, management or quality.
• Proven experience leading teams and contractors in a matrix environment.
• Robust understanding of biopharmaceutical regulatory and safety processes and global submissions.
• Knowledge of regulatory systems (e.g., Veeva RIM, Liquent, Lorenz).
• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global data management activities and milestone conformance within regulatory systems.
• Champion innovation to enhance processes and support cross-functional business units.
• Influence senior management decisions to drive global regulatory data strategies.
• Lead evolution of data management and quality oversight with business and digital partners.
• Ensure data integrity via audits, timeliness, accuracy and completeness.
• Develop KPIs to ensure timely execution of improvement initiatives and compliance.
• Coordinate with process owners to interpret compliance requirements and provide input.
• Establish open communication with stakeholders for staffing and coverage.
• Coach and develop staff, onboarding, and career development planning.
• Lead cross-functional teams and autonomously influence decisions without direct authority.
• Utilize resources efficiently and drive operational effectiveness.
