Job summary

Pfizer Inc. in the United States is seeking a senior Regulatory Data Governance lead reporting to the Head, Regulatory Data Vanguard.

You will oversee global data management activities spanning regions and products, ensuring data integrity, timeliness and compliance across regulatory systems. The role drives data quality initiatives using AI, data science, automation and reporting, partners with BPOs, supports strategic projects, and liaises with cross-functional teams to safeguard patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years or Master’s with 4+ years in Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs or data-related field.
• Strong experience in regulatory affairs or regulatory operations and data governance and quality.
• Proven ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory submission concepts and global compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global data management activities and ensure milestone conformance across regulatory systems.
• Champion innovation and promote risk-taking to improve processes impacting cross-functional teams.
• Influence senior management decisions to support global regulatory data strategies.
• Lead data management and quality oversight with business and digital partners.
• Ensure data integrity through audits and verification checks for timeliness and completeness.
• Develop KPIs to drive compliance and timely execution of improvements.
• Liaise with process owners to interpret compliance requirements and provide input.
• Staffing planning and participant development for teams across units.
• Autonomously influence business decisions even without direct reporting lines.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance activities with RDV stakeholders and others.
• Anticipate and address regulatory/compliance issues impacting business units.
