Job summary

Visa is seeking a lawyer to join its Global Regulatory Affairs team. The position reports to the VP of Global Regulatory Affairs and is based in Atlanta, Austin, or San Francisco. The Associate Counsel will manage regulatory matters across Visa's 200 countries and territories and draft submissions for government requests.

The ideal candidate will have strong judgment, communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach, with experience in regulatory strategy and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree and J.D. from an accredited law school
• A member of the bar of any U.S. state and in good standing
• Admitted to practice law in the United States and in good standing

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage complex regulatory matters across the 200 countries Visa operates in
• Draft regulatory submissions and responses to government requests and public consultations
• Develop and execute global regulatory positions and strategy with global/regional teams
• Collaborate with legal teams and practitioners worldwide to support Visa objectives
