Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree and J.D. from an accredited law school
  • A member of the bar of any U.S. state and in good standing
  • Admitted to practice law in the United States and in good standing
  • 4 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree and J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong academic credentials

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Visa's global and regional legal, business, and government affairs teams to understand and achieve key regulatory objectives, and manage complex and time-sensitive regulatory matters
  • Develop global regulatory positions and strategy, draft submissions, and support engagements with governments, regulators, and policymakers
  • Develop global best practices and ensure consistency of regulatory strategies across regions
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in analysis, drafting, research and communication
  • Manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
