Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support SAF/IS programs across overseas deployments. You will manage casework, coordinate communications, and lead volunteer efforts while complying with military and base requirements.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, five years of program management experience, and strong communication skills; readiness for travel and deployment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field is required; or related equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five years related experience in program management or related field is required.
• Requires strong computer skills, public speaking and effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver Red Cross SAF/IS services for military members and families.
• Oversee Emergency Communication Casework and logs with mission guidelines.
• Lead volunteer engagement and deployment support across SAF/IS and related programs.
• Coordinate travel, contingency planning, and reporting for mobile deployments.
• Build relationships with military leadership and installation partners.
