Job summary

Stadler in Salt Lake City seeks a Project Manager Engineering to drive complex rolling stock design projects with international stakeholders. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Candidates should have a degree in engineering, PMP preferred, 3–5 years in rail/defense/aerospace, and fluent English with some German desirable. This role offers an opportunity to shape cutting-edge transit solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent.
  • PMP preferred.
  • 3–5 years experience in rail vehicle, defense, aerospace or equivalent.
  • Experience leading international projects.
  • English fluency required; German preferred (at least B1).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the senior TPM in managing and monitoring highly‑complex, multimillion dollar rolling stock projects.
  • Continuously monitor progress and create regular reporting accordingly.
  • Focus on timely execution of design documentation within budget and quality requirements.
  • Facilitate communication across multisite / international environments.
  • Represent Stadler in front of customers and suppliers.
  • Participate in negotiations and regular customer project execution meetings and prepare those accordingly.
  • Assume responsibility for sub‑projects.
  • Ensure proper communication with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Leadership of the project team together with the senior TPM.
