Job summary

Stadler Rail AG in the United States invites a Compliance Engineer/Certification Manager to lead certification activities across rail projects. You will coordinate with internal project teams, external agencies, authorities and consultants to ensure FRA, CFR/APTA and US-standards compliance.

Based in Salt Lake City, you will drive requirements management, validations, and documentation while supporting safety processes and cross‑border collaboration in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) in relevant field.
• 5–8 years of experience in rail vehicles, defense, aerospace, and certification management.
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
• Experience leading challenging projects in an international environment.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Team player with social competence and sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• On-time management and planning of all certification activities.
• Scheduling for certification and coordination of testing and safety management.
• Requirements management for all certification standards and documents.
• Tracking of certification requirements and coordinating with external consultants.
• Proactive validation requests and documentation from engineering.
• Coordination with assessors, agencies, sites and external consultants.
• Support safety committees and FRA/CFR/US-standards compliance.
• Compliance and certification for North America (RA/TC).
