Job summary

Molex is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Director to lead quality strategy and execution for Optical Connectivity Solutions within the Datacom and Specialty Solutions division. This customer-focused leader will strengthen preventive quality, regulatory compliance, and reliability across a global design and manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, applied science, or related technical field.
• Progressive quality leadership experience in a complex product design and manufacturing environment involving optical, electronic, or similarly technical products.
• Experience leading quality management systems, regulatory compliance, customer quality, product quality, and manufacturing quality across multiple locations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 and advanced quality tools, including FMEA, SPC, process capability, corrective action, and structured problem solving.
• Experience communicating directly with customers and leading the resolution of significant customer quality concerns.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a global quality strategy aligned with Molex requirements and customer expectations.
• Partner with regional plant and design center leadership to establish preventive quality practices and improve product/process performance.
• Lead and maintain quality management systems that meet ISO 9001 and Molex Quality System audits.
• Represent the organization on customer quality matters and coordinate containment, root-cause resolution, and corrective actions.
• Sponsor Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and cost of poor quality.
• Provide quality leadership for new product development and launch planning, including risk identification and production readiness.
• Apply advanced quality methods and drive quality reviews and corrective actions across sites.
• Advise senior leaders on policy, performance, risk, and improvement priorities.
• Build organizational capability through talent assessment, development, and succession planning for quality leadership.
