Job summary

Molex is seeking a Sr Director, Quality - Optical Solutions to lead the global OSBU quality strategy and a cross-functional team across manufacturing sites.

You will drive customer, manufacturing, supplier quality, reliability, and compliance programs, partner with Operations, Engineering, Product Management, and R&D to enable growth while ensuring world-class quality and customer satisfaction. This executive role requires strong leadership and a track record in optical/telecom manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressive quality leadership experience.
• Minimum 10 years leading quality organizations within global manufacturing environments.
• Experience in optical communications, telecommunications, electronics manufacturing, or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the OSBU global quality strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global quality organization across all manufacturing locations.
• Establish common quality standards, governance, metrics, and best practices across the global network.
• Drive a culture of quality ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Build organizational capability to support future growth and global footprint expansion.
• Lead customer quality reviews, audits, scorecards, and recovery plans.
• Improve customer satisfaction through proactive quality management and issue resolution.
• Partner with Sales, Product Line Management, and Operations to strengthen customer relationships.
