Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager for Global Engineering, Maintenance, & Sustainability—Design & Construction Quality Management. You will define processes for Preconstruction and Construction, benchmark across units, and lead improvement initiatives using lean and six sigma principles.

Travel up to 60% within regions, with relocation assistance possible. You will partner with diverse teams, build global best practices, and drive measurable improvements in execution quality and speed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
• Experience in facility and infrastructure construction management

Responsibilities

• Utilize standard methodologies to engage teams using PMP and Lean Six Sigma to drive improvements.
• Drive speed, quality, and simplification by eliminating rework and automating hand-offs.
• Motivate teams to achieve impeccable quality in fast growth and deadline-driven settings.
• Diagnose processes, identify improvement opportunities, and guide strategies.
• Lead and drive short-term wins and long-term process design/redesign efforts.
• Create global best practice documentation and share insights across regions.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders to benchmark processes and improve tools and capabilities.
