Job summary

Amazon is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to join the Global Engineering, Maintenance, & Sustainability - Design & Construction Quality Management team. This role travels up to 60% and requires coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver process improvements and scalable solutions across regions.

Candidates should have 5+ years of program management, be data-driven, and able to lead complex initiatives with senior stakeholders. Relocation may be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics.
• Experience in facility and infrastructure construction management.

Responsibilities

• Utilize PMP and Lean Six Sigma based continuous improvement methodologies to engage teams to solve customer problems.
• Drive speed, quality, and simplification by eliminating rework loops and standardizing processes.
• Motivate others to achieve impeccable quality in a growth and deadline-driven environment.
• Diagnose processes, identify improvement opportunities, prescribe strategies, and guide efforts.
• Lead and drive short-term improvements as well as long-term design efforts.
• Create global best practice documentation and facilitate sharing across the globe.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and translate pain-points into benchmarks for improvement.
