Job summary

Xylem in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sr. Director, Quality to lead the enterprise quality strategy across design, manufacturing, supplier and field quality.

You will drive reductions in defects and cost of poor quality with a data-driven approach while building a global quality organization.

This role partners with engineering, operations, supply chain, and service teams to deliver robust quality systems and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing or a related technical field.
• 15–20+ years of progressive experience in quality, manufacturing, engineering, or operations.
• 10+ years in leadership roles managing multi-site or global teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise quality strategy and framework.
• Drive execution and performance improvement to reduce defects and costs.
• Strengthen end-to-end product and process quality with upstream design and supplier performance.
• Build and lead a global quality organization across regions.
• Provide governance, risk oversight, and executive transparency with clear reporting.
