Xylem in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sr. Director, Quality to lead the enterprise quality strategy across design, manufacturing, supplier and field quality.

You will drive reductions in defects and cost of poor quality with a data-driven approach while building a global quality organization.

This role partners with engineering, operations, supply chain, and service teams to deliver robust quality systems and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing or a related technical field.
• 15–20+ years of progressive experience in quality, manufacturing, engineering, or operations.
• 10+ years in leadership roles managing multi-site or global teams.

Through strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration, the Global Quality Leader will work with this team to build organizational capability in critical areas such as data analysis, root cause problem solving, design for reliability, and quality systems management. This individual serves as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing transparent reporting on quality performance and risks while championing a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the enterprise.**Primary Responsibilities*** **Define and lead the enterprise quality strategy and framework**—Establish global standards, governance, and metrics that integrate design, manufacturing, supplier, and field quality into a cohesive operating system aligned with business objectives. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
