Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a top-level executive to direct Quality, Compliance & Governance across the GMPD segment. You will shape global quality strategy, oversee Design QA, QMS, Supplier QA, and Post-Market Surveillance, and partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

You will lead a large, global quality organization, drive regulatory readiness, and influence senior executives and external regulators.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Quality Assurance, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, or Quality Systems within the medical device or closely regulated health industry.
• Deep expertise in medical device regulations, quality systems, and global compliance requirements.
• Experience leading regulatory inspections, audits, remediation efforts, and enterprise quality transformation initiatives.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leadership, regulators, customers, and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel globally – roughly 20%.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute a global quality, compliance, and governance strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the continuous advancement of enterprise Quality Management Systems to support innovation and sustainable growth.
• Drive a culture of accountability, quality excellence, patient safety, and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Serve as a member of the senior quality leadership team, influencing critical business decisions and priorities across the enterprise.
