Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Purchasing System Manager - Manufacturing Support Services in Washington, DC to lead the PACCAR Purchasing System modernization and provide business systems expertise across NA and EU. The role interfaces with ITD and Purchasing teams to document and deploy best practices.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in commodity management and purchasing, strong project management, and excellent communication skills; travel is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience in purchasing or related field.
• Deep knowledge of Commodity Management and Purchasing processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global partners.
• Knowledge of PACCAR Purchasing System (SAP SRM).
• Knowledge of Project Management.
• Strong communication, leadership and results-driven work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide business process and commodity expertise to the PACCAR Purchasing System modernization project.
• Interface with ITD and Purchasing personnel in NA and EU to document and enable in the GPPS environment.
• Identify best practices globally and incorporate into project deliverables and roadmap.
• Coordinate with GPPS expansion, implement new modules and ensure UAT.
• Provide training to Purchasing users and support day-to-day activities.
