Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Mathematical skills for basic costing analysis.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Reasoning ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supplier communication to obtain quotes, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Utilize SAP ERP system to prepare and process purchase orders per company policies.
• Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Logistics, and Receiving to manage payments and shipments.
• Inventory management: track levels in line with demand and trends.
• Maintain records of purchases, supplier communications, and inventory levels; report supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and ship documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in training to enhance purchasing skills.
