Job summary

GSK seeks a Global Publications Director to lead strategic publication plans aligned with Global Medical Plans and scientific communication strategy. You will drive long-term publication plans, manage matrix teams, and ensure alignment with regional needs across the portfolio.

The role requires strong scientific integrity, stakeholder management, and the ability to leverage AI and GenAI to improve efficiency while upholding governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or related field is required.
• Minimum of 8 years in pharmaceutical industry, publications management, medical affairs, or external scientific engagement.
• Minimum of 5 years developing and executing strategic publication plans.
• Experience leading cross-functional publication teams and managing deliverables.
• Knowledge of GPP and ICMJE guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of long-term global publication plans aligned with medical strategies.
• Coordinate matrix teams to connect asset plans with portfolio publication strategies.
• Ensure timely execution of publication plans per priorities and governance.
• Review priority publications and oversee tracking and reporting.
• Manage external agency partners and budgets for publications.
