Job summary

deugro is seeking an Operations Manager for The Woodlands, TX area. You will oversee daily general cargo freight and project operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a team to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires extensive freight forwarding experience, strong leadership, and a focus on customer and vendor relationships. You will drive continuous improvement and collaborate with management to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-15 years of Freight Forwarding experience.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or education equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with FMC, DOT, TSA, and Customs regulations (US and Foreign).
• Develop and maintain Ocean/Air carrier relationships.
• Maximize profits through negotiation and operation excellence on various freight modes.
• Development and maintenance of strong long-term customer and vendor relationships.
• Management and execution of all daily operations of General Cargo Freight/Projects.
• Mentor, train, and motivate assigned team members.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive best practices.
