Job summary

Sealaska is seeking a Project Manager to lead a diverse set of national security-related projects. The role oversees design, acquisition, shipment, implementation, testing, and handover of radiation detection equipment and counter nuclear smuggling systems in cooperation with NNSA, U.S.

national laboratories, and international partners. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally, coordinating cross-functional teams, budgets, risks, and milestones across the project lifecycle to ensure

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, Construction Management or related field with at least 2+ years of experience.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning including scope, staffing, effort estimates, and schedules.
• Develop technical and financial proposals for new work.
• Identify and track project risks, issues, and changes; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate international logistics, including shipping, export control, customs clearance, and VAT exemption.
• Plan and execute milestone reviews, deliverable assessments, and gate processes.
• Ensure deliverables cover requirements management, design, integration, testing, QA, delivery and sustainment.
