Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams on nuclear power plant modification projects. This remote role involves coordinating engineers, designers, controls and scheduling professionals to deliver safe, on-time, within-budget results, with occasional visits to a client in the Seattle area.

You will manage the life cycle of project execution, develop strong client relationships, report KPIs, and mentor team members while upholding quality and safety

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• 10+ years in a technical field (engineering, construction, planning, etc.).
• 5+ years as a firm/client liaison in a lead/support role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources from each discipline to execute projects.
• Own all aspects of project performance including safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client experience.
• Lead and mentor project team to ensure accountability.
• Develop and maintain client task engineers relationships and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Report KPIs for schedule, budget and dashboards.
• Identify and control construction risk and change.
