Qualifications

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Preferred experience: mechanical engineering, plastic tooling, structural design, and consumer product design.
Product development of electronic consumer products.

Responsibilities

Direct daily communications to ensure timely project completion.
Drive product design to meet cost, timing, reliability and high-volume manufacturing requirements.
Analyze design options and implement designs into mass production.
Ensure regulatory compliance and safety for product development.
Lead design and safety reviews to gain approvals for product development phase progression.
Utilize design tools such as CAD, FMEA, DOE, and DFM/DFMA.
International travel required.
