Job summary

Techtronic Industries Power Equipment in Anderson, SC seeks a Project Engineer to manage multiple projects from concept to mass production within an international team.

You will provide project management and technical direction to ensure timely product introductions, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers. Hands-on with design reviews, risk analysis, and documentation from specification through production.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• December 2026 graduates considered.
• Mass production experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily communications to align groups toward timely project completion.
• Drive design of products to meet cost, timing, reliability and high-volume manufacturing requirements.
• Analyze, evaluate and select from design execution alternatives to meet specifications and enable mass production.
• Accountable for technical elements of product execution including components, materials, packaging, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Write product, performance and testing specifications and refine requirements based on technology and customer needs.
• Conduct design and safety reviews to gain approvals for development phase progression.
• Drive quality compliance using tools such as Value/Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments, DFM/ DFA, CAD analysis and 3D design tools.
• Initiate and follow patent searches; participate in developing patents to protect innovation.
• Other duties as assigned.
